Well the weather finally warmed up! The fishing has picked up as the week has gone by. My week started out really good for trout with two fish over 7 pounds and a handful of 3-5 pounders. Redfish were a little tougher though. I saw a ton of fish they just were'nt hitting that well. I was able to catch a dozen or so each day and they were really nice fish from 5-12 pounds but I should have caught a lot more. I think it will really pick up this week. Most of the pompano went further south into Pine Island sound and down towards Ft Myers. They seem to be hanging around the ladyfish which is fun but they are kinda a pain when you're trying to catch pompano.
