The fishing has really started to pick up even more. I have averaged about 60 fish a day on the flats. I have had some huge trout up to 8 lbs and some really nice reds up to 17 lbs. Snook fishing has been getting better and better as well with some fish in the 15 - 20 lb range but most are just fun fish from 24" - 28". The kingfish are thick in Boca Grande Pass and off the beach on all the reefs. Tripletail have been good as well on the crab bouys between Redfish Pass and Stump Pass. Tarpon are in Charlotte Harbor and Pine Island Sound but the wind has made it pretty hard to fish for them.
