Tarpon! Tarpon! Tarpon! Finally the weather has been good enough for a couple of days last week and today to really tarpon fish and it has been really good. If you find them they are definetly hungry. I jumped 15 fish on three trips which is pretty good. The fish are from 80-120 lbs.

The flats fishing is still really good also for snook and reds. I've caught over a dozen snook over 15 lbs but only 1 over 20 lbs. I even caught a 22 lb red on the flats with a lot of fish in the 12-14 lb range. I'm mostly fishing with live bait but the top water bite has been pretty good too for you guys who like to throw artificials.
